Williams is seeking a motivated Manager of Information Technology Infrastructure Network Services. Responsibilities include oversight of Network Services, Data Network and Voice/Circuit Network. Responsibilities also include: Provides technical expertise and direction in the management of a public and/or private network; Manages the installation, support and/or maintenance of local (LAN) and/or wide area networks (WAN); Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations; Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission; Tests and analyzes network facilities including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters and servers; Performs extremely complex technical tasks and/or directs teams in projects of major scope; and is responsible for providing network infrastructure design, implementation, administration and support in analyzing and troubleshooting network systems/traffic in a timely, cost effective/efficient manner to meet customer business requirements and ensure optimal performance.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Manages skilled, technical professionals to oversee the Network, Data, and Voice Services for the organization to meet requirements/needs of business partners
* Provides performance management guidance to develop team that is capable and competent to support the business
* Manages the Network Operations Center (NOC)
* Determines staffing based upon current and forecast requirements of projects
* Determines and recommends promotions based upon the continual growth and development of staff
* Develops quality customer relationships to meet customer needs
* Demonstrates extensive business knowledge, system knowledge and customer management skills
* Oversees network projects to ensure that they achieve intended goals
* Exhibits negotiation skills in order to achieve overall organizational goals
* Develops and manages to approved budget
* Manages the department within fiscal guidelines by controlling departmental expenditures, capital investments and contractor expenses
* Establishes goals and direction for employees and provides needed resources, training, leadership and performance feedback
* Confers with and advises employees on administrative policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities and methods
* Provides input to policy-level direction regarding standards and budget constraints
* Initiates process improvements by participating in formal teams and demonstrates innovation and leadership by recognizing opportunities for new and different approaches and implementing the resulting process improvements
* Develops and implements business solutions from concept with little or no guidance from, or reliance upon, existing processes or past practice
* Demonstrates leadership as a change agent to improve the culture of the organization by influencing peers and customers
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* 10+ years of IT experience.
* Previous (3+ years) supervisory/management experience required.
* Previous experience with networks, data or voice services preferred.
* Previous experience in managing projects and/or project portfolios.
* Successful record of delivering IT solutions using practical and approved technologies.
* Proven ability to manage a team of technical resources, developers, and analysts.
* Robust and persuasive professional manner, with highly developed interpersonal and management skills.
* Proven ability to think and communicate strategically about technology.
* Demonstrated excellence in analysis, documentation, and presentation tools required
* Proven ability to multi-task well in fast-paced environment.
Williams will pay relocation costs associated for this position.
